Thoughts

Auntie Chris, a most wonderful Auntie, friend and beautiful person. Caring to the max, always put others before herself. Auntie Chris had the most amazing sense of humour, and we would often end up enjoying a good giggle! Sending dad a tambourine for Christmas when I had a drum set. Every Christmas/Birthday, sending me some sort of foot cream after I dropped a car battery on my toe on her drive, where she also spent her evening in A & E with me. There were also the fits of laughter when I received my 'Hales around the house' calendar, which will never be forgotten. Finally, I recently visited Cornwall, where I purchased an Amethyst crystal. This is for you Auntie Chris, to offer you Peace and Protection wherever you are, and even though in my clumsiness I managed to drop it (which I know will make you laugh) I feel the little piece that broke away you have given back to me. I still can't believe your gone and never thought the last time I saw you would be the last. Someone up there needs to stop cherry picking their Angels, sleep well Auntie Chris, may you be pain free and at peace, love you, Kelly

Chris, my very special friend. We met when we worked together in the early 1980s. We had some lovely holidays together, both at home and abroad. We also had some fun evenings out in the early days with some disco dancing here and there .Luckily, we seemed to have similar tastes in music. We enjoyed days out and visiting interesting places, especially gardens and garden centres. We did some lovely walks together especially in the days when Chris had Cindy. I can even remember us occasionally playing tennis a game which we both loved. We would usually try to take some of our annual leave from work during Wimbledon fortnight to watch the tennis. In more recent years, because we lived quite a distance from each other, we regularly met for coffee and/or lunch usually at a garden centre. I will always treasure my long friendship with dear Chris We spent such lovely happy times together over the years. We had our serious moments but also some fun, as Chris, although quiet and gentle by nature, did have her cheeky side. I am so glad to have spent some time with Chris during her final week. I will miss you Chris, my wonderful trusted friend. You will be safe and at Peace now. God Bless. Trish xx

Auntie Chris, you were one of the most caring people I have ever known, always so softly spoken and a heart of gold, always had time for anyone and always looking out for them and in saying this I know you will make a brilliant angel, looking down on us all and keeping an eye on us, just like always, god bless
